Inflammatory bowel disease attacks quickly and makes patients miserable. Recently, British researchers found the key factors causing inflammatory bowel disease. Now let's take a look at the key factors caused by inflammatory bowel disease!

Yn ddiweddar, canfu tîm ymchwil Prydeinig fod protein o’r enw T-bet yn chwarae rhan bwysig wrth gynnal y cydbwysedd cain rhwng y system imiwnedd berfeddol a fflora’r coluddion. Mae arbrofion yn dangos y gall dileu'r protein hwn arwain at symptomau tebyg i glefyd llidiol y coluddyn dynol (IBD) mewn llygod. Felly, mae'r ymchwilwyr yn credu y gellir defnyddio'r ffordd y mae'r protein yn effeithio ar y system imiwnedd berfeddol fel cyfeiriad ymchwil, ac yn olaf yn paratoi'r ffordd ar gyfer datblygu dulliau newydd ar gyfer trin clefyd llidiol y coluddyn. Cyhoeddwyd y canlyniadau ymchwil perthnasol yn rhifyn ar-lein rhifyn diweddaraf y Journal of immunology.

Inflammatory bowel disease refers to ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. This disease is common in western countries, and the prevalence rate in China has also begun to rise sharply in recent years. The etiology of inflammatory bowel disease is still unclear, but most studies have targeted the intestinal immune system. A large number of bacteria are parasitic in the human intestine, which plays an important role in maintaining human health. Under normal circumstances, the intestinal immune system will not respond to the activities of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, but only play a role when the internal balance is destroyed. The intestinal immune system of patients with inflammatory bowel disease is different. It will make an immune response to the beneficial flora in the intestine, leading to chronic inflammation.

In a research project funded by the British Medical Research Council and the Wellcome foundation, the research team led by Professor Graham Lord of King's College London found that a protein called T-bet has a strong influence on the interaction between cells of the intestinal immune system. The deletion of this protein will lead to the dysfunction of immune cells, cause inflammation and eventually lead to the occurrence of inflammatory bowel disease. Experiments have proved that once the T-bet protein in the mouse immune system is removed, it will lead to the symptoms similar to human inflammatory bowel disease in mice; Using these proteins as therapeutic targets can reverse the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease in mice.

Tynnodd yr ymchwilwyr sylw at y ffaith bod eu hymchwil o arwyddocâd mawr i gadarnhau'r celloedd imiwnedd a'r prosesau moleciwlaidd a all arwain at glefyd llidiol y coluddyn am y tro cyntaf; Gwella protein T-bet
